What We Offer

Air Conditioning Services

New Installations

New Installations

Beat the Brisbane heat with a professionally installed split system air conditioner. We supply and install leading brands suited to your room size, layout, and budget. Our electricians handle the full process from initial site assessment and unit selection through to electrical connection, refrigerant charging, and commissioning. Every installation is completed to manufacturer specifications for maximum efficiency and warranty compliance.

Regular Servicing

Regular Servicing

Air conditioning systems that aren't regularly serviced lose efficiency, consume more power, and can develop mould and bacteria in their filters and coils. Our comprehensive servicing includes filter cleaning or replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant level checks, electrical connection inspection, and a full performance assessment to keep your system running at peak efficiency year-round.

Specialised Deep Clean

Specialised Deep Clean

If you're noticing odours, reduced airflow, or suspect blockages or leaks, our specialised deep clean service restores your system. Includes high-pressure cleaning of the evaporator coil, fan barrel and assemblies, casing sanitisation, filter removal, cleaning and sanitisation, microbial treatment of the coil (mould and bacteria prevention), sanitising treatment of the fan barrel and internal components, condenser coil flush and treatment, drain flush and check, and a comprehensive operational system check. Note: this service is for maintenance only and does not include fault diagnosis or rectification of existing issues.

Ducted Air Conditioning

Ducted Air Conditioning

For whole-home or whole-office comfort, ducted air conditioning delivers consistent temperatures across every zone with discreet ceiling vents and a single controller. We install ducted systems with zone control for personalised comfort and energy savings, and we handle the full package — design, ductwork coordination with the builder, refrigerant line install, controller setup, and full commissioning.

Maintenance Matters

Why Regular Servicing Is Essential

Brisbane's subtropical climate means your air conditioning system works hard for much of the year. Without regular maintenance, filters clog, coils accumulate grime, and refrigerant levels can drop — all of which force your system to work harder, consume more energy, and wear out faster.

We recommend servicing your split system at least once per year, ideally before the summer cooling season begins. For commercial systems or units that run year-round, we recommend servicing every six months. Our maintenance plans are designed to keep your system performing at its best while protecting your investment.

BOOK A SERVICE

Lower Energy Bills

A well-maintained and correctly sized system uses significantly less power than an inefficient or oversized unit.

Improved Air Quality

Regular filter cleaning removes dust, allergens, and mould spores, creating a healthier indoor environment.

Extended Lifespan

Routine servicing catches minor issues before they become major faults, adding years to your system's life.

Warranty Protection

Most manufacturers require regular servicing to maintain warranty coverage. We provide service records for your peace of mind.

Supply & Install

Complete Supply & Installation Service

Not sure which system is right for your space? We take the guesswork out of air conditioning. Our team assesses your room size, insulation, window exposure, and usage patterns to recommend the perfect unit for your needs. We supply quality units from trusted brands and handle the complete installation including electrical connection, piping, drainage, and commissioning.

Every installation includes a full electrical assessment to ensure your switchboard and wiring can safely support the new system. If an upgrade is needed, we handle that too — one team, one call, no coordination headaches.

System Types

Air conditioning we install & service

From a single bedroom split to a whole-of-home ducted system, the right choice depends on the space, the budget, and how the rooms are used. The two system types we install.

Single Room Splits

2.5–3.5kW wall-mounted splits for bedrooms, studies, or living zones. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu. Inverter-technology for efficiency in Brisbane's humid summers.

Ducted Residential

Whole-of-home ducted systems with zoning by room or floor. WiFi control, smart thermostats, integration with home automation. Designed for large family homes.

What to Expect

From assessment to annual service

01

On-site assessment & sizing

We measure the space, calculate heat load (not a wild guess based on floor area), consider ceiling height, insulation, window orientation, and Brisbane's humidity profile. Correct sizing is the difference between an efficient system and a struggling one.

02

Written quote with brand/model options

You get a clear quote with 2–3 brand options at the right capacity. We explain the trade-offs — Daikin premium reliability, Mitsubishi quietness, Fujitsu value — so you choose on informed terms.

03

Licensed install & refrigerant handling

Install by a licensed electrician paired with an ARC-certified refrigerant handler (our licence AU068040). Refrigerant charged to manufacturer spec, leak-tested, and vacuum-pressurised before commissioning.

04

Commissioning & control setup

System commissioned to manufacturer procedure. WiFi controller configured, zones set up.

05

Annual service calendared

Automatic reminder for annual service — refrigerant check, filter replacement, condenser clean, drain line clear, electrical inspection. Catches issues before summer peak.

Compliance & Standards

Why licensed installs matter

A/C installation is regulated at two levels — electrical and refrigerant. Both licenses are legally required:

  • ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence — ours is AU068040. Required by law to handle, install, or service anything containing refrigerant gas.
  • AS/NZS 5149 — refrigerating systems and heat pumps safety and environmental requirements.
  • AS/NZS 3000:2018 — electrical installation standards applying to the A/C supply and controls.
  • MEPS — Minimum Energy Performance Standards. All units we install meet or exceed current MEPS rating.
  • Refrigerant Logbook — commercial systems over 2kg refrigerant charge require logged service records. We maintain these for our commercial clients.
  • QLD Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 — hardwired A/C connection must be by a licensed electrician with Certificate of Electrical Safety.

What Affects Your Quote

How we price an A/C install

Every install is quoted after a site assessment with heat-load calculation. The variables that drive the price:

System type & capacity

Single split vs ducted, total kW capacity matched to the room or building heat load.

Indoor head count & placement

Number of rooms served, distance from outdoor condenser, concealed vs wall-mounted positioning.

Brand & model spec

Daikin premium reliability, Mitsubishi quietness, Fujitsu value — trade-offs discussed at quote stage.

Electrical provisioning

Dedicated circuit from switchboard, RCD protection, sometimes 3-phase supply for larger ducted.

Access & installation complexity

Ceiling access for ducted, condenser location, coastal salt-air housing requirements.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right size air conditioner for my room?
As a rough rule, you need around 100 watts of cooling capacity per square metre of floor space in Brisbane's climate, adjusted for orientation, insulation, ceiling height, and glazing. A typical 20 m² living room suits a 2.5 kW unit; a 40 m² open-plan area suits 5–7 kW. We do a free sizing assessment on every quote to make sure you're not oversized (short-cycling, moisture issues) or undersized (running constantly, never reaching set point).
How often should I service my split system?
Once a year is the minimum. Brisbane's humidity, dust, and pollen build up quickly on filters and coils, dropping efficiency and introducing mould and bacteria. Most manufacturers require documented annual servicing to keep your warranty valid. Commercial and heavy-use systems benefit from 6-monthly servicing.
What refrigerant do modern split systems use?
Most new split systems sold in Australia use R32 refrigerant, which has around one-third the global warming potential of older R410A systems. Handling refrigerant legally requires an ARC licence (Australian Refrigerant Handling) — ours is RTA No. AU068040. We dispose of old refrigerant correctly and charge new systems to manufacturer specification.
Can I run the outdoor unit on the side of my Queenslander?
Yes, but placement matters. The outdoor unit needs 300mm clearance on all sides, should not sit in direct afternoon sun if possible, and must be mounted to a solid wall or ground pad. Body corporate approval is required for units. Older timber weatherboard walls sometimes need bracing plates. We'll walk the property and propose the most efficient, lowest-noise placement on your quote.
